Wired Solution
with Unified MCU

Diagram of the wired solution: a mouse seen from above with its USB cable routed out of the top, and a single chip labelled MCU with USB inside the shell.

Wireless Solution
with Unified MCU

Diagram of the wireless solution: a mouse with a single chip labelled RF chip inside the shell, paired with a USB receiver shown above it emitting a wireless signal.

Hybrid Wired-Wireless
with Dual MCUs

Diagram of the hybrid solution: two mice side by side. The left one carries an MCU with USB chip and a highlighted data transfer path; the right one adds a second chip labelled RF chip, with a USB receiver shown above marked 'or' to indicate wired or wireless operation.

Firmware

An algorithm with fancy gaming lighting effect

  • Highly flexible and configurable in speed and directions.
  • Automatic flow control relocating the direction of the lighting effect.
Animated demonstration of the lighting algorithm: a full-spectrum RGB bar flows across the top, while a gaming keyboard, headset and mouse below it cycle through matching colours.

Software

  • Our lighting effects are compatible with the most popular RGB gaming eco-system.
  • Software and firmware can be upgraded via the cloud.
  • Using a cross-platform development framework.
Software architecture diagram. A user drives a front-end user interface built with Angular2, HTML 5 and Css/Scss. Below it a device layer covers Mouse, Keyboard, Headset and Other Device, alongside a Database. The platform layer splits into Windows (Driver, Razer Chrome option, C-media Driver, Hid, C-Media API, Other API/SDK, System) and Mac (Driver, Hid, System). A shared Lighting Effect Algorithm and the Electron shell span the stack, which sits on the OS and finally reaches the Device.
  • Complex keyboard lighting effects can be controlled by software.
  • Mouse motion can be synchronized with the keyboard lighting effect.
Animation: a mouse traces a figure-eight path while the matching keys on the keyboard light up in sync
